LORD ROSEBERY red windowpane check shirt

This fine windowpane check red cotton shirt  called Lord Rosebery is created with an iconic double-twisted fabric proposed  by Santillo in a version very soft differently to classic oxford, different for Its slightly lustrous texture.
Formal fitting with cutaway collar and classic cuffs  suited to wear with a worsted dark green three piece suit with tie or matched with a blazer.
The hand-cut and hand-restitched shirt features 4mm asymmetric buttons of sterling Australian mother-of-pearl (the varying shape of the buttons brings out the hand-made sewing of every single button).
Once the sides have been sewn, the restitching of the armhole is realized with the Santillo famous “punto a barchetta”, in order to enhance the softness and strenght of the fabric in the most stressed point of the shirt. Finally, the ironing and the folding are made by hand too.
