Francesco Maglia 1854 truly embodies everything that fascinates Italian craftsmanship and that’s why Santillo is honored to be together for this collaboration, born within “Radici project”, which we will present. Saverio Santillo and Francesco Maglia, who is currently at the head of the company, now in the sixth generation, have already had the opportunity to participate both at the event organized by B.S.M.I “The new generations of Italian craftsmanship” held at Bocconi University in December 2019. Since 1854 umbrellas have been made by expert hands and attentive eyes of artisans who create real masterpieces, it is a pleasantly archaic touch that seems elegantly out of step with the digital era. However, today the brand has grown to export all over the world.
